Policy for Refunds and Cancellations  

Refunds or cancellation requests associated with tickets purchased through a travel agent, travel agency, or 3rd party travel site will not be processed at the Air India. The request must first meet the requirements established in the Air India Cancellation Policy before any refund or cancellation conversions are processed.

Travel Services for Pet 

Passengers can book pet travel services with Air India, which is subject to Air India’s Pet Policy and availability. Pet companion travel bookings can be conducted at the Air India or you can call 650-821-8830. Small pets or animal companions can be carried in an approved kennel or carrier inside the passenger cabin with you, while large pets or animal companions must be transported, otherwise, in the aircraft’s hold.

Baggage that is lost, delayed, or damaged 

Airline representatives at the NAG terminal should be notified at once regarding delayed lost or damaged baggage. They will provide every possible assistance and will attempt to resolve the situation within forty-eight (48) hours. Further details can be obtained about lost bags by calling the Central Baggage Service Office at 800-223-7776, from 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. (Pacific Standard Time). Reimbursements may be made and are subject to Air India Baggage Policy. 

Registering Or Check-in 

Air India travelers can check in online via the “online check-in” feature on the airline’s website / mobile app (available 24 hours before flight time) or in person at the Air India NAG terminal.  International flights must check-in at least 1 hour before scheduled flight departure time and domestic flights must check-in at least 40 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time.
