Make a reservation

Passengers needing ticket booking assistance can work with staff at the Air India terminal office at Frankfurt International Airport. They are trained to create an itinerary that best matches all passenger’s specific needs for flights. Manage Your Booking

If needed, passengers traveling on Air India can request assistance from the team at the terminal. They are more than willing to assist you with booking changes or trip information and add or remove any related upgrades, amenities, and services. However, passengers have the option to manage their booking via the “Manage” section available through the Air India mobile app or website on their own. 

What’s the Baggage Allowance

Any checked bag fees must be paid for separately on the airline’s website or mobile app or in-person during check-in at the airport, for example, at the Air India designated terminal or on the airline’s website or app itself. For more detailed information, there will also be Air India staff at the Air India terminal in checking all other bags that are not checked in on-site, or you can find the detailed information on your operating airline websites. 

Policy for Refunds and Cancellations  

Refunds or cancellation requests associated with tickets purchased through a travel agent, travel agency, or 3rd party travel site will not be processed at the Air India. The request must first meet the requirements established in the Air India Cancellation Policy before any refund or cancellation conversions are processed.

Travel Services for Pet 

Passengers can book pet travel services with Air India, which is subject to Air India’s Pet Policy and availability. Pet companion travel bookings can be conducted at the Air India or you can call 650-821-8830. Small pets or animal companions can be carried in an approved kennel or carrier inside the passenger cabin with you, while large pets or animal companions must be transported, otherwise, in the aircraft’s hold.

Baggage that is lost, delayed, or damaged 

Airline representatives at the FRA terminal should be notified at once regarding delayed lost or damaged baggage. They will provide every possible assistance and will attempt to resolve the situation within forty-eight (48) hours. Further details can be obtained about lost bags by calling the Central Baggage Service Office at 800-223-7776, from 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. (Pacific Standard Time). Reimbursements may be made and are subject to Air India Baggage Policy. 

Registering Or Check-in 

Air India travelers can check in online via the “online check-in” feature on the airline’s website / mobile app (available 24 hours before flight time) or in person at the Air India FRA terminal.  International flights must check-in at least 1 hour before scheduled flight departure time and domestic flights must check-in at least 40 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time. 

Services for Special Assistance at FRA

Air India travelers will be able to request special assistance services at the time of the ticket being booked (with the assistance of a Travel Associate) via the airline’s “Fly for All” app or you can call 650-821-8830. There are alternatives in the facility to request special assistance on the day of travel.

Air India FRA terminal does have complimentary Wifi. Most aircraft in the Air India fleet are Wifi enabled, passengers may have the option to use either fast-streaming satellite Wifi or basic Wifi by purchasing Wifi packs.
